Meet Terry Ford, Principal of Strategic Stewardship. With a career spanning over two decades, Terry’s journey into the financial planning industry began with a deep desire to help others. “I saw how many people struggled to understand the financial system—especially taxes and preparing for the day they might not be able to work. I’ve always been a helper at heart, so serving others through financial planning just made sense,” he shares.
A proud graduate of Georgia Tech, Terry’s engineering background laid the foundation for his analytical approach to problem-solving. He further honed his expertise at the College of Financial Planning, earning the esteemed CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation. Since joining Strategic Stewardship in 2003, Terry has brought his passion and 25 years of experience to clients across a diverse range of households.
Terry’s favorite part of his job? Watching the “lightbulb moments” when clients realize their financial goals are achievable. “Helping clients clarify their objectives and showing them a path to success is incredibly rewarding,” he explains. On a day-to-day basis, Terry manages the office, meets with clients, and develops personalized plans tailored to their unique needs.
A man of deep faith, Terry is active in the Atlanta Kingdom Advisors organization and Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, Georgia. You’ll find him reading a book, road biking, shooting, or teaching Sunday school on the weekends.
Terry and his bride of more than 46 years, Susan, live in Woodstock, Georgia. They have been blessed with two children and three grandchildren.
