Michael’s journey into financial planning was inspired by a defining moment in his childhood. After his parents divorced when he was seven, Michael witnessed firsthand the invaluable guidance his mother received from her financial advisor, leaving him with a determination to be the same kind of support for others.
As a financial advisor with over two decades of experience, Michael’s passion lies in helping clients integrate their faith and finances. “God’s Word has so much to say about money,” he explains. “By living according to His principles, we can find peace in our stewardship.” Since joining Strategic Stewardship in 2018, Michael has guided clients toward intentional financial planning that honors their deepest values and supports God’s Kingdom.
Michael’s favorite part of his role is meeting with clients and being a trusted partner in their financial journey. His day-to-day includes client meetings, research, and preparing customized financial plans. He strives to help clients steward their resources wisely, often leading to increased generosity and a sense of peace.
Michael attended the College of Charleston, where he majored in business. After growing up in Macon, Georgia, Michael now calls Roswell, Georgia, home, where he lives with his wife of 20 years and their three children.
Outside the office, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and making cherished memories on their annual trips. He is deeply involved in his church, serving as a middle school leader alongside his friend Bill, and finds great joy in watching kids embrace their own faith. A lifelong basketball enthusiast, Michael also loves coaching his youngest son’s basketball team.
