AJ has been helping families navigate their financials since 2012. He specializes in helping families with pre-college age children, hopeful adoptive parents and parents who have completed the adoption process, whether through foster care, agency/attorney, or international. Some of his areas of expertise are: Financial Planning, Asset Management and Debt Paydown Strategies.
"My favorite financially related verse in the bible is:
'Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.' (Prov. 13:11, ESV)
I feel it is important for us to practice patience, especially within our financial lives. While working within the financial world, I have learned that wealth has little to do with money and more to do with spiritual awareness."
AJ serves in the adoption community as a family counselor, with an emphasis on coaching the husband/father on his roles and responsibilities regarding the relationship between the adoption process and supporting his wife and current children. His favorite part of financial planning is building lifelong, lasting relationships while coming alongside families as they grow.
He graduated from Colorado State University with a BA in Accounting and Finance and enjoys spending time with his wife, and their 5 children, hiking, hunting, fishing and enjoying God’s creation. He and his family attend Crosspoint City church in the North Georgia area.
